Vanderlande Industries is an organisation which is currently experiencing strong growth and which continuously invests in the latest IT technology. Within Vanderlande Industries, the Information Technology department provides the necessary software applications and IT infrastructure to users in the head office and all the branches around the world.
The needs are determined in close cooperation with the organization. Besides standardised packages, customised solutions are also used to meet the ever increasing demands. The department is also responsible for keeping the IT environment operational, with availability and performance being of the utmost importance.
An IT employee turns the suggestions of users at the head office and at the various (national and international) locations into reality and also performs and coordinates numerous complex or not so complex alterations and/or implementations. You are expected to take the initiative, to take on responsibility and to have the necessary up-to-date IT knowledge.
As a result of the character of the IT department, you will quickly come into contact with all the disciplines within the company, such as the Research & Development, Sales, Engineering, Procurement & Logistics, Services, Finance and Human Resources departments.
