Human Resources

"In a world of technology, a belief in people”. In order to best express this slogan, the Human Resources department (HR) is concerned with everything to do with our organization’s employees, such as recruiting and selecting the right people for the right positions. However, it is equally important to guide the employees with and support them in their career and personal development. An international project organization, such as Vanderlande Industries, offers plenty of opportunities for employees to further themselves.

We also give attention to subjects such as absence through illness and the reintegration of employees who have been absent for a long period of time due to illness, as well as more practical issues, such as job evaluation, remuneration and the employment conditions.

In short, a wide range of interesting and influential duties which have a large impact on the development of the organization.

Since it is obvious that HR employees at Vanderlande Industries must be knowledgeable in many fields, it is extremely important that they have a wide range of interests. It is not only about thinking in terms of social and legal solutions, but, possibly even more importantly, also about thinking in business-related solutions. An HR professional is expected to be able to empathize with both the employees on the work floor and the organization’s management employees and to act accordingly.

Since Vanderlande Industries is a project organization which operates internationally and which has various branches throughout the world, the HR department has a lot to do with the consequences of working and doing business abroad. If required, the HR professionals advise the management of the various foreign branches with regard to, for example, job evaluations and assessments.
